I recently worked with Stage Ham to develop a unique perspective on how the platform could be used. We wanted to create a series of images that had it's own interest and intrigue as well as being part of a bigger picture that could be viewed in the grid layout.
A major element of Instagram, though, is that when scrolling you go back in time. So we had to think backwards so that when someone scrolls through my profile it would show the images laid out in the proper sequence. In doing that we had to release our content in reverse order, starting with the end.
Before we started posting images we sketched out ideas for each "bigger picture" and then came up with ideas of how to build it with individual images.
Our results was my initials "J" and "I".
